Wikipedia
Greatest Hits, Etc. was the first compilation album of Paul Simon's solo career. It included two then-new songs, "Slip Slidin' Away" and "Stranded in a Limousine", as well as a previously unreleased live version of "American Tune". This album was Simon's final album for Columbia Records before signing with Warner Bros. Records.
"Stranded in a Limousine" was only available on this compilation until 2004, when it was included as a bonus track on a CD reissue of Simon's One Trick Pony album.
Currently, the album is out of print. Originally issued as an LP, the album was pressed for a short time in the 1980s in CD format by Columbia Records. The pressing of the CDs was stopped upon the release of Simon's compilation album Negotiations and Love Songs 1971-1986, which was designed to supersede this album. However, a few cuts, including "Stranded In A Limousine" and that of "American Tune" found here were not included on Negotiations.
