Garden Village, Wrexham

History

The original houses in the area were first built in 1913-17 (in common with very many other Garden Village housing developments all over the UK at that time through the Garden city movement) and the Garden Village church was built in 1928 in the ecclesiastical parish of Rhosddu.

Garden Village lies to the north east of Wrexham town centre on what was originally the main through road to Chester. The area is served very well by road, bus links and local amenities.

It neighbours the communities of Acton, Rhosddu and Stansty.
