Fioritura

  [fee-awr-i-toor-uh, -ohr-; It. fyaw-ree-too-rah]
"Fioritura" is the name given to the flowery, embellished vocal line found in many arias from nineteenth-century opera. It is derived from the Italian fiore, meaning "flower".
