Filipp Sergeyevich Oktyabrskiy (Russian: Филипп Сергеевич Октябрьский, real surname: Ivanov - Иванов; October 23, 1899 — July 8, 1969, Sevastopol) was a Soviet naval commander and admiral (since 1944). Hero of the Soviet Union (awarded on February 20, 1958). Began service on the Baltic Fleet in November of 1917. From March, 1939 up to April, 1943 and in March, 1944 - November, 1948 he was a commander of the Black Sea Fleet and headed its actions during the defence of Sevastopol and Odessa. Later he was awarded two 1st class Orders of Ushakov, 1st class Orders of Nakhimov and 2nd class Orders of Suvorov. A Kresta II class cruiser was named in honour of the Admiral.
