Dialects of Fars

Dialects of Fars is a group of Southwestern Iranian dialects close to Lari spoken in the Central Fars province. The major dialects are Buringuni, Davani, Kondazi, Masarmi, Papuni, Somguni, Dahlei, Abduyi, Kazeruni, Tajiki Kalani, Lori Kalani, Kandeyi, Kuzargi and Mamassani Lori. This group of dialects is not to be confused with the standard Persian, the official language of Iran.
