FanMail is the third studio album to released by TLC. The album was highly anticipated by fans. It was their follow up to the massively successful album CrazySexyCool, which was released in 1994. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, with 318,000 copies sold and remained at #1 for 5 weeks. The album has since sold 6 million copies domestically and 11 million worldwide.
Fanmail went Platinum in Japan before going Platinum in the U.S. Fanmail also went Platinum in The U.K. and sold over a million copies across Europe. "Fanmail" won Best R&B Album of the year in the 2000 Grammy Awards
