European LC Championships

The European Aquatics Championships, or European Championships, is the main aquatics championship for Europe. "Europeans" are held biennially and are organized/conducted by LEN, the European Swimming League.

LEN currently organizes championships in all five five aquatic disciplines: diving, swimming, open water swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo. However, since 1999, the European Water Polo Championship have been held separately.

The swimming portion of these championships is conducted in a long course (50m) pool, and is considered one of the premier swimming competitions in the world. This page concerns these 50m European. For swimming, LEN also conducts an annual short-course (25m) swimming championship.
