Ethnikos Piraeus F.C.
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceEthnikos Piraeus are a Greek football club. The team's colors are blue and white. Known as the club of the upper classes of Piraeus (whereas Olympiacos used to be the team of the masses), Ethnikos participated in the first championship of Greece (1928) as champions of Piraeus. In 1933, they won the Greek Cup. They have had several decent runs in the Greek League since then but in 1990 were relegated into the B' Division.
Recent history
They have earned a promotion from the Gamma Ethniki in 2006 and will be playing the 2007 season in the B Division. To help them return to the elite of the Greek football they have signed former Brazilian international Giovanni Silva de Oliveira and Vassilis Tsiartas. These two players quit in the beginning of the 2006-2007 season. The current official name of the club is "Ethnikos Piraeus".Titles
