Eirini station
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceThe Eirini or Irini station (Greek: Σταθμός Stathmos Eirinis) is an ISAP train station in Ano Maroussi, Greece several kilometres north of Athens and is next to the Olympic Center or Centre. It is marked at the 20.850 km from the starting point in Piraeus. The station is named after the Greek word for peace in which it is the pure symbol of sports and world peace. In the same spot, the present ISAP station was opened in March 4, 1957 and uses the same name. The station was first opened in September 3, 1982 and was renovated in 2004. It features two platforms, two in the island form and three stationed lines. Not during peak hours, it serves direct routes between Eirinis and Piraeus stations and Eirinis and Tavros-Eleftherios Venizelos stations
