Edge (geometry)

For edge in graph theory, see Edge (graph theory)

In geometry, an edge is a one-dimentional line segment joining two zero-dimentional vertices in a polytope. So it's a connector for a one-dimentional line segment and 2 zero-dimentional object.

A planar closed sequence of edges forms a polygon (and a face).
