Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or
Oireachtas, located in the capital city,
Dublin. The constituency has an electorate of 65,583 and at present is served by 3
Teachtaí Dála (TDs). The method of election is the
Single Transferable Vote. It became a 3 seat constituency for the
2007 general election, having previously had 4 seats.
