Dimitris P. Kraniotis
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceDimitris P. Kraniotis (Greek Δημήτρης Π. Κρανιώτης) is a contemporary Greek poet.
He was born in 1966 in Stomio, Larissa, a coastal town in central Greece (Thessaly). He has studied at the Medical School of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and lives and works as a medical doctor (physician) specialist in Internal Medicine in Larissa, Greece.
He is Founder and President of World Poets Society (W.P.S.) and Member of the Hellenic Literary Society, International Society of Greek Writers, Greek Society of Medical Writers, Larissa Writers' and Poets' Society (former Vice-President), World Academy of Arts and Culture (WAAC), World Congress of Poets (WCP), United Poets Laureate International (UPLI), International Writers and Artists Association (IWA), Union Mondiale des Ecrivains Medecins (UMEM), Poetry Society of America (PSA) and Academy of American Poets.
He is Doctor of Literature (Litt. D.) by the World Academy of Arts and Culture (WAAC), President of the 22th World Congress of Poets (in 2011 in Greece) by the United Poets Laureate International (UPLI), Ambassador of the Movement "Poetas del Mundo" to Greece and Universal Peace Ambassador by the Universal Ambassador Peace Circle & the Universal Peace Embassy.
He has won a number of international literary awards for his poetry (in Greece, USA, UK, France and India).

His poems have been translated into English, French, Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian (Serbo-Croatian), Dutch and Portuguese and have been published in many countries around the World (Greece, USA, UK, Romania, India, Algeria, Bulgaria, China, Korea, Mongolia, Brazil, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Nepal, El Salvador, South Africa, Italy & Turkey).
