Dimitra Liani (Greek: Δήμητρα Λιάνη) is Greece's former first lady, born in Florina,Makedonia. She married the former Prime Minister of Greece Andreas Papandreou in 1989. She became first lady when Andreas Papandreou swept to power in October 1993, becoming Prime Minister for the third time since October 1981, and unseating incumbent Prime Minister Mitsotakis.
