Dario Bellezza (September 5, 1944 - March 31, 1996) was an Italian poet, author and playwright.

Biography

Dario Bellezza was born in Rome.

His poetical works are inspired by strongly personal and autobiographical themes, (from which he differentiates homosexual love lived with a laissez faire attitude, from the obsessive search for a "beautiful assassin" amongst drug users and prostitutes), with influences coming from Sandro Penna and other Symbolist poems.
