Cytherea can be:

• Another name for the goddess Aphrodite of Greek mythology,
• A synonym of the orchid genus Calypso.
• A genus of Bombyliidae, Cytherea (insect).
• A generic name used for the smooth clam Callista chione, from the Mediterranean that is eaten in Spain, Italy, Morocco, Balkan countries and elsewhere, and
• Cytherea, an adult movie star.
