Cop (album)

Cop is the second album by the No Wave band Swans. The album is considered to be an improvement on their previous LP, Filth. Its most infamous song is probably the title song, which some consider more vitriolic than even Body Count's "Cop Killer", although the subject in the former's case is metaphorical.

It was remastered by Michael Gira in 1992 for release on CD along with the Young God EP. The packaging for the this reissue states that the recording is "designed to be played at maximum volume".

Henry Rollins has mentioned an ironic incident involving the title song in several spoken-word performances.
