Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceClinician is a term used generically to describe a wide range of medical professionals, including veterinary medicine. The root is the Greek klinikos referring to the bed, and extended to the clinic.
A clinician can also be anyone who runs some sort of clinic (by analogy with a medical clinic) specializing in some sort of area to help people who seek professional advice for somewhat specific problems, be they in art, architecture, music, or other fields.
