Church of God Theological Seminary, located in
Cleveland,
Tennessee, is the main
theological training center for the
Church of God (Cleveland). The school was founded in
1975 as the
Church of God Graduate School of Christian Ministries. In
1978 the name was changed to
Church of God School of Theology, and later the name was changed once again to
Church of God Theological Seminary. The seminary distinguishes itself as one of the few ministry training institutions that integrates both
Pentecostal and
Wesleyan theological emphases. The seminary offers several degrees which include the Master of Arts in Church Ministries (M.A.C.M.), the Master of Arts in Discipleship and Christian Formation (M.A.D.C.F.), the Master of Arts in Counseling, the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).
