Lloyd began screenwriting with the first four seasons of The Golden Girls. His father is acclaimed sitcom writer David Lloyd.
Recent works include as a screenwriter for the movie Flushed Away, for which he received an Annie Award, and creator and executive producer of the series Back to You.
Lloyd is married to the actress Arleen Sorkin.
