Chris Jones (1990s outfielder)

Christopher Carlos Jones (born December 16, 1965, in Suffern, New York) was a Major League Baseball outfielder. In January 2007 he took over as manager of the Kannapolis Intimidators, a minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.

He graduated in 1984 from Liverpool High School located in Liverpool, New York. Liverpool is a suburb of Syracuse.

Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 3rd round of the 1984 MLB amateur draft, Jones would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Cincinnati Reds on April 21, 1991, and appear in his final game on July 29, 2000.

Jones was a member of the inaugural Colorado Rockies team that began play in Major League Baseball in , and the inaugural Arizona Diamondbacks team that began play in Major League Baseball in .

Lives now in Gallatin, Tennessee with his wife and three children.
