Rowe first started off in an edition of Jackanory, "Muddle Earth", where he acted onto a green screen for almost all of the film. He said, "I was acting in front of a green screen and it was quite hard, because I was talking to a wooden brush with faces painted on, and metal poles with pieces of paper attached to the top."But it was really good fun, especially acting with a dog. Once, when we were filming in a bathtub we were using as a boat, the dog jumped out and I fell out with him."
In Camera and electrical department, Rowe was the best boy grip for the film Blur.
Rowe is soon to star in the post-production film of The Nutcracker, called "The Nutcracker: The Untold Story" with him starring as the Nutcracker, and Elle Fanning starring as Mary.Before taking his television debut, Rowe was on stage in The Snowman at the West End's Peacock Theatre.
Rowe has said this about acting, "I desperately want to do more TV, and I hope I do because I love it."The nervous thing is that it's going to come out and everyone's going to see it. You hope that everyone will enjoy it - you always want to make everybody happy."
Rowe also auditioned for a Highgate musical of Bugsy Malone, but left before serious auditions could go underway. Rowe trains at NLPAC in Muswell Hill and Stagecoach Highgate. His career is managed by Byron's Management. He is a big fan of actors such as Johnny Depp, Daniel Craig and Michael Palin.
