Charles Bruck

Charles Bruck (2 May 191116 July 1995) was a Hungarian-French conductor.

Bruck was born in Timişoara, then in Austria-Hungary, today in Romania.

He studied with Pierre Monteux and succeeded Monteux as director of his conducting school in Maine, a post he held for twenty-six years after Monteux's death until his own.

He also taught at The Hartt School of Music where he served as Director of Orchestral Activities.

He died in Hancock, Maine, USA.
