Wikipedia
The Cambridge University Boat Club (CUBC) is the rowing club of the University of Cambridge, England, located on the River Cam at Cambridge, although training primarily takes place on the River Great Ouse at Ely. The club was founded in 1828. It has used the Goldie Boathouse on the Cam since 1880.
Along with the University of London Boat Club, Oxford University Boat Club and Durham University Boat Club, CUBC is considered one of the best university rowing clubs in the country, and the club races against the Oxford University Boat Club (OUBC) in The Boat Race on the Thames in London each year. It has produced Olympic-level rowers.
When rowing on the Thames, both the Blue Boat and Goldie boat from King's College School's Boat House.
