

The school was created as a response to the high influx of international residents to Grenoble and was originally located in the Lycée Stendhal. However, it grew out of Stendhal and was relocated in 2002. It is composed of a middle school and a high school, providing an environment in which its students are able to continue the education whence they left off in their respective nations. They are able to graduate with an international Baccalauréat in any of the six languages offered. The McLuhan curriculum allows students of American origin to continue their education as though they were still in the United States. Admission to the CSI Europole is conducted in either 6ème or 2nd with an intensive language exam.
