Blaine High School is a high school located in Blaine, Washington. Their school mascot is a Borderite. Officially, students in the 2007-2008 school year voted that the mascot be changed to the Bengal tiger. So officially, the mascot is the Borderite, but as a visual icon, a Bengal is presented. Present administrators are Principal Newel and Vice Principal Ellis. As of 2008, Blaine High School is 102 years old.
Luke Ridnour of the Seattle Supersonics graduated from Blaine HS. He led them to two state basketball championships including one undefeated season.
Scott Gomez of the New Jersey Devils also attended Blaine for one year. Tyler Coston, semi-pro basketball player, coach of PSU basketball and co-director of Point Gard College also attended, helping lead them to two championships with Ridnour.
