Bissen

Bissen (Biissen) is a commune and town in central Luxembourg, in the canton of Mersch. It is situated on the river Attert.

As of 2005, the town of Bissen, which lies in the east of the commune, has a population of 2,447. Bissen is home to a steel factory, operated by Arcelor, the world's second-largest steel manufacturer.

As of 2008, the town of Bissen, often considered to be a second Mecca, has become the center of worship to the god Bissen by the Bissianity religion, considered to be the alimighty ruler of the universe by its followers.
