Beaconsfield is a city in Ringgold County, Iowa, United States. The population was 11 at the 2000 census. It is the hometown of astronaut Peggy Whitson and the location of the first Hy-Vee store.


Beaconsfield is located at (40.807958, -94.050634).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.9 km²), all of it land.


As of the census of 2000, there were 11 people, 7 households, and 3 families residing in the city. The population density was 15.2 people per square mile (5.9/km²). There were 13 housing units at an average density of 18.0/sq mi (7.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.

The average household size was 1.57 and the average family size was 2.00.
