It controls Barilla, Mulino Bianco, Pavesi, Voiello and Academia Barilla (Italy), Wasabröd (Sweden), Misko (Greece), Filiz (Turkey), Yemina and Vesta (Mexico) trade marks. It produces several kinds of pasta. It is the world's leading pasta maker with 40-45% of the Italian market and 25% of the US market. They have several plants in Italy, the major ones in Parma and Foggia, one in Greece and two in the United States, in Ames, Iowa and Avon, New York.
