Jaber A. el-Baneh, or
Jaber Elbaneh (جابر البانح), of
Lackawanna New York (Alleged DOB
September 9 1966) is wanted by the
FBI in connection with a federal criminal complaint unsealed on
May 21 2003, in the
Western District of New York,
Buffalo,
New York. He is charged with providing material support to a terrorist organization and conspiring to provide material support, specifically to
Al-Qaeda. Jaber is believed to have worked in the past as a salesman and taxi driver. He is believed to be from
Yemen.
The Rewards For Justice Program administered by United States Department of State, is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest of Jaber A. el-Baneh.
His relative, Arab-American Susan El-Baneh, was killed in a terrorist attack on the U.S. Embassy in Yemen, while trying to figure out the procedure to bring her spouse of three weeks back to the United States.
