The
Ashy Cuckoo-shrike (
Coracina cinerea), also known as the
Madagascar Cuckoo-shrike, is a species of
bird in the
Campephagidae family. The
taxon cucullata, by most authorities considered a
subspecies of the Ashy Cuckoo-shrike, has occasionally been considered a separate species, the
Comoros Cuckoo-shrike (
Coracina cucullata).
It is found in Comoros, Madagascar, and Mayotte.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
