Greek Mythological Persons
- Argiope, wife of Agenor and mother of his children. More commonly known as Telephassa
- Argiope, a naiad of mount Parnassus, possibly the daughter of the river-god Cephissus. She bore Philammon a son, Thamyris.
- Argiope, a naiad of the town of Eleusis, possibly the daughter of the river-god Cephissus. She bore Branchus a son, Cercyon.
- Argiope, daughter of Teuthras, king of Teuthrania, (located in Mysia. She married Telephus (who inherited her father's kingdom) and bore him a son, Eurypylus.
Other Uses
- A spider genus, Argiope, which includes the St Andrew's Cross spider and the wasp spider.
- Argiope, a popular monster from the MMORPG Ragnarok Online.
