Aquil

Character story

Aquil is the leader of the army of Lireo and the son of the Lirean soldier Amarro. In the story, Danaya fell in love with him. He is the most trusted and loyal soldier of Amihan during her reign and resisted the invasion of the Hathors lead by Pirena and Hagorn. After the Invasion of Lireo, Aquil found himself in the lair of Cassiopea, where the former queen treated his wounds. he left and search for surviving Lireo soldiers, his search led him to the Place of the Mandirigma (warriors).

Aquil was also the first one to see Danaya's return to Encantadia. During this time he was again in search for Lireo soldiers with the help of Apek and Wantuk (Ybarro's companions). After Amihan's escape he has gathered more soldiers and introduces a new weapon, the Encantadian equivalent of a flash bomb.

During Amihan's attack at the castle with the Mulawins he seems to be angry at Bagwis for stealing much of Danaya's Attention. Aquil dies in the final battle against the Hathors but not without telling Danaya his true feelings for her.

In Etheria, Aquil vowed not to be a coward like his father. He asked Ybrahim to teach him how to handle a sword and how to fight.

He returns to help the sang'gres in their battle and to regain the love of Danaya. He is to have a child with Danaya at the end of the last war of Encantadia.
