Anupama Chopra is a movie reviewer with NDTV and India Today. She is the wife of filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra. She is a noted writer and has written several books. In 2001, she won the National Film Award for Best Book on Cinema for the book Sholay: The Making of a Classic. Since then, she has written several books, particularly cinema related, such as a book for the 1995 blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the biography of popular Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, King of Bollywood : Shah Rukh Khan and the seductive world of Indian cinema among others.
