Ano Patissia station
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This SourceThe Ano Patissia station (Greek: Σταθμός Άνω Πατησίων Stathmos Ano Patission) is an ISAP train station in Ano Patissia, Athens, Greece. It is marked at the 15.269 km from the starting point in Piraeus. It was also a train station that served from Lavriou Square and Strofyli. It was first opened on February 4, 1885 and shut down on August 8, 1938.
It is near the Orthodox Christian church of Saint Barbara and the train is above ground. The station features escalators and lifts for the disabled.
The station is on the economic centre of Ano Patissia, and there are a lot of businesses nearby, including a large Internet cafe and billiard centre, many banks, and companies.
