Andrew Daly (born April 15, 1971) is an American actor, writer, and comedian who is best known for his character Dick Pepperfield in the 2008 film Semi-Pro starring Will Ferrell, and for his multiple appearances on Lewis Black's Root of All Evil.

Daly was part of the cast of MADtv from 2000 until 2002. He was part of the cast of The Showbiz Show with David Spade on Comedy Central. He has also been cast as Terrence Cutler in the HBO comedy series Eastbound and Down, due to premiere in the spring of 2009.

Early life

Daly was born in Mount Kisco, New York and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from Ithaca College and studied improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Andrew also invented the party game Mustache-TV, which he markets through the website mustachetv.net.

Career

Television

Daly joined the cast of MADtv during season 6 as a featured player, then became a repertory player in the following season. He appeared as Bill Maher in Politically Incorrect sketches, *NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick and Dick Cheney, among many other impersonations.

He is now the new host of Match Game.

Stand-up comedy

Daly does many characters in his stand-up. In 2007, one character, "Jerry O'Hearn," was featured on the comedy compilation CD Comedy Death-Ray (album). In 2008 Daly released, Nine Sweaters, a comedy record from compiled a nine-week residency at Comedy Death-Ray's Tuesday night shows for AST Records.
