Branch of the Indo-European language family spoken in Anatolia from the 3rd millennium BCE to the early centuries CE. The attested Anatolian languages are Hittite, Palaic, Cuneiform Luwian (Luvian), Hieroglyphic Luwian, Lycian, Lydian, Carian, and possibly Pisidian and Sidetic.
