The organization wants to promote a better understanding of European and American positions on business matters. AmCham EU is located in Brussels, Belgium.
AmCham EU is the voice of companies of American parentage committed to Europe towards the institutions and governments of the European Union on trade, investment and competitiveness issues. We facilitate the resolution of EU-US issues that impact business and play a role in creating better understanding of EU and US positions on business matters.
Its aim is to ensure a growth-oriented business and investment climate for our member companies in the European Union. Our consistent high quality of work covers our unrivalled multi-sectoral industry experience. We are committed to transparent and open communication and inclusive dialogue between our members and European policy makers.
The vision of AmCham EU is to be:
- the most valued lobbying force in the EU;
- the representation body for US business in the EU; and
- a trusted discussion partner for European institutions and governments.
AmCham EU's priority for the period 2006-2009 is to achieve the right regulatory environment for economic growth in the European Union through three drivers:
1) furthering open markets; 2) fostering innovation; and 3) pursuing balanced sustainable development.
