Adrastus (Greek:Ἄδραστος) meaning inescapable(see Adrasteia) refers to several figures in Greek mythology and history:

Adrastus, a legendary king of Argos during the war of the Seven Against Thebes.
Adrastus, son of Gordias, who failed to protect the son of Croesus during a boar hunt.
Adrastus, son of Merops king of Percote; brother to Amphius. This Adrastus and Amphius led a military force from Adrastea, Apaesus, Pityeia and Tereia to the Trojan War - despite the entreaties of their father, a seer, who could foresee that death awaited them on the battlefield. Sure enough, Adrastus, son of Merops, was slain by King Agamemnon.
Adrastus, father of Eurydice, the wife of King Ilus of Troy. He is otherwise unknown, but this Adrastus may be the eponym of the town or city of Adrastea in northwest Asia Minor, on the Hellespont.
Adrastus, son of Polynices and Argea, daughter of Adrastus. He was a leader of the Mycenaeans during the Trojan war and was also counted as one of the Epigoni.
Adrastus of Philippi was a 4th century BC Peripatetic philosopher.
Adrastus of Aphrodisias was a 2nd century Peripatetic philosopher.
Adrantus, also known as Adrastus or Ardrantus, wrote commentary on the works of Theophrastus.
