Aaron Hosack (born November 28, 1981 in West Covina, California) is an American football wide receiver for the Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League.
In his career, Hosack has played for the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.
Hosack began his NFL career in 2004 on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. While emulating some of the leagues best receivers, he accumulated 56 touchdown receptions during practice sessions with the team. Hosack was named the 2004 Week 12 Scout Team Player of the Week once during his career with the Vikings.
In an effort to improve international relations, and a need to reduce the payroll, the Vikings decided to allocate Hosack to play overseas for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe. Hosack played for the Galaxy from 2005-2007. In between those years he attended training camps with the Vikings and New Orleans Saints, in turn perfecting his skills as a scout team player.
Hosack's career was abruptly cut short when Saints head coach Sean Payton told him that his scout team services would no longer be required during the 2007 NFL preseason. During the 2007 regular season Hosack's services were not inquired by any NFL team.
