7072 Beijingdaxue (provisional designation ) is an asteroid named after Peking University.
The asteroid was discovered on February 3, 1996 by the Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program at Xinglong, China.
Named for the 100th anniversary of the Peking University (Hanyu Pinyin: Běijīng Dàxué), one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China.
