2004 UEFA Super Cup

The 2004 UEFA Super Cup was played on August 27, 2004 between FC Porto of Portugal and Valencia CF of Spain. Valencia gained entry by beating Marseille in the 2004 UEFA Cup Final. Porto had made it to the final after beating AS Monaco in the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final. However both managers who won the respective titles had moved on.
