"Come On Get Up" is a song by American R&B/pop singer Janet Jackson.
Song information
"Come On Get Up" was the fourth and final
single from Jackson's seventh studio album,
All for You (2001). It was also the opening track for Jackson's
All for You Tour and was then released in
Japan in late 2002. It became the last song released from this album after "
Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You)" with
Carly Simon and
Missy Elliott. The single was supposed to be released as a commercial single, but it was canceled. Instead, promo CDs and vinyls were issued to DJs in Japan and America only. Jackson was scheduled to film a
video for the song but it was also canceled. Subsequently, Jackson started work on her 2004 album
Damita Jo.
