Score Productions is an
American musical production company specializing in background
music and themes for
television programs. Started in
1963 by producer
Robert Israel, Score has created some of the most recognizable tunes in America—most times identifiable by just a few notes.
The most famous composer from this company was Edd Kalehoff, who became a pioneer in the use of the synthesizer. Other composers who worked under Score Productions include Bob Israel himself, Sheila Cole Israel, Lee Ringuette, and Susan Otto.
