Under Construction (Missy Elliott album)

Under Construction is the fourth studio album by American rapper Missy Elliott, released by The Goldmind Inc. and Elektra Records on November 12, 2002 (see 2002 in music) in the United States. It was primarily produced by Timbaland, with additional production from Craig Brockman, Nisan Stewart, Errol "Poppi" McCalla and Elliott herself. The album peaked at number 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart and sold more than 2.1 million copies domestically, eventually becoming Elliott's highest selling album to date.

In 2003 Under Construction received Grammy Award nominations for "Best Rap Album" and the prestigious Album of the Year.

A "sequel" album, Under Construction, Part II, was released in 2003 by Missy's close friends and Superfriends Clique-mates Timbaland and Magoo.
