In elementary algebra, a trinomial is a polynomial consisting of three terms; in other words, a trinomial is the sum of three monomials. It can be factored using simple steps

In linguistics, a trinomial is a fixed expression which is made from three words; e.g. "lights, camera, action", "signed, sealed, delivered".

Examples

  1. 3x + 5y + 8n
  2. 3t + 9s + 3y
  3. 3ts + 9t + 5s
