Ryūzaburō Ōtomo

(May 18, 1952 - ) is a male seiyū from Tokyo currently affiliated with Aoni Production, and formerly affiliated with 81 Produce.

He is most known for the roles of Doctor Ōgami (Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!), Myotismon (Digimon Adventure), Uka Uka (Crash Bandicoot series), the second voice of Lord Giri (Mahōjin Guru Guru), Dabra (Dragon Ball Z) and Sir Crocodile (One Piece).


Ōtomo possesses a low voice and shrill laugh, and so often voices characters who are either calm, violent, treacherous, or sneaky. Examples including the sorcerer Lord Giri in Mahōjin Guru Guru and Jūsan Saejima in Brave Police J-Decker. He took over the ongoing roles of seiyūs Shigezō Sasaoka and Eiji Kanie after their deaths. In addition, he took over for Shinji Nakae as the narrator of variety show Hey! Spring of Trivia as of May 12, 2007. He stands at 186 cm (6 feet, 2 inches) tall.
