Thiocyanic acid

Thiocyanic acid is the chemical compound with the formula HSCN. It is unstable with respect to the isomeric isothiocyanic acid, HNCS.It is known mostly in its salt forms.

HSCN is predicted to have a triple bond between carbon and nitrogen. It has been observed spectroscopically but has not been isolated as a pure substance.
