Francisc Vaştag
The boxer Francisc Vaştag (Hungarian: Vastag Ferenc, born November 26, 1969 in Reşiţa, Caraş-Severin) was the first Romanian to win the supreme belt in his category. His victory greatly stimulated boxing in Romania. The champion boxer Adrian Diaconu has said that he considers Vaştag to be a brother and mentor.
