Sutherland Falls, waterfall, 1,904 ft (580 m) high, between Lake Quill and Arthur River, SW South Island, New Zealand. It is among the world's highest waterfalls. It is a major tourist attraction in Fiordland National Park.
They are near the Milford Track, and at 580 metres (1,904 feet) is the highest waterfall in New Zealand. (Note however that this has recently been disputed, with an unofficial listing for Browne Falls of 619 metres (2031 feet).)
