International Surfing Association

The International Surfing Association (ISA) is an International Olympic Committee-recognised governing body for surfing, bodyboarding and surfriding that stages World Surfing Championships. The ISA replaced the International Surfing Federation in 1976, and has been running biennial competitions for professional surfers since 1964, as well as the Junior World Championships, held in conjunction with the World Surfing Games, since 1982.
